About me
Ever since I was young, I’ve been fascinated by video game music. I found myself constantly drawn to the captivating themes and melodies, often playing them on my own alongside the pieces I performed with my local concert band.
As I grew musically, I took joy in studying these pieces further, discovering how they were composed and arranged. It became more than just playing them on my euphonium. Each tune was a puzzle, a story waiting to be unlocked through music.
When I started arranging and composing, I naturally gravitated back to the genre that sparked my passion. Combining my love for video games and music felt like a perfect match, allowing me to bring the iconic sounds of virtual worlds to life for wind orchestras and smaller ensembles.
At Augustijn Arrangements, every score is a labor of love, crafted with the same enthusiasm I had as a kid discovering the magic in those melodies. Whether it’s a nostalgic theme or an original composition, my goal is to share that passion and inspire others to experience the joy of game music in a whole new way.
